Virtual Connections Bring Radiologists to Patients and Referring Providers Without Leaving The Reading Room

Posted by PureWeb on Mon, Sep 17, 2018

Recent research has shown that direct communication with radiologists makes patients more satisfied and referring providers more educated. However, among these hospitals only 10 have neonatal intensive care capacity and only three have pediatric intensive care capacity. To solve this care gap, in 1979 the state established the Newborn and pediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS) to provide 24/7 emergency transport of emergency pediatric cases to Sydney Children’s Hospital or other locations.
