The question on everyone’s minds at the Wireless Life Sciences Alliance (WSLA) Summit event in San Diego is: “when is mHealth 2.0 going to arrive?” In other words, “when is wireless and mobile driven healthcare technology going to become mainstream?” In Crossing the Chasm-speak… when is the mHealth movement going to make the jump from the early adopters into full mainstream adoption on a global basis and what countries will lead? A growing group of executive and industry leaders and new and larger industry sponsors join this event every year and Calgary Scientific has been a regular for years and seen a shift. A few years ago, we were still asking: “is this mHealth movement ever going to become real?” I think it’s safe to say, we’re on the other side.
Attending my first American Roentgen Ray Society Resident's Reception in Vancouver, I was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the residents and faculty not only about their own careers but about the future of healthcare information technology. The Calgary Scientific team used ARRS as live moment to share our newly launched ResolutionMD™ 3.0.
